Terms of Use

Agreement

By downloading or using Patchee, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Patchee is operated by Hemiscend ("we", "us", "our"), incorporated in Canada.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Patchee on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

This licence does not include the right to sublicense, sell, resell, copy, modify, or distribute the app or its content.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Patchee offers a free tier (1 page) and a Pro tier (unlimited pages, all features).
Pro is available as a monthly subscription, annual subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase.
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies.
Monthly and Annual subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID settings.
The Lifetime purchase is a one-time non-consumable purchase. It is non-refundable except as required by applicable law.

Your Content

All content you create in Patchee (tasks, notes, habits, routines, boards) belongs to you. We do not claim any ownership over your content.

Since Patchee is local-first, your data is stored on your device. We recommend using the built-in backup feature (Settings → Back Up Everything) to keep a copy of your data.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Patchee to:

Violate any applicable law or regulation
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app
Circumvent or attempt to bypass any subscription or entitlement checks

Disclaimer of Warranties

Patchee is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that data will never be lost. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your own data.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hemiscend shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Patchee, including but not limited to loss of data.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes in-app. Continued use of Patchee after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Canada.
