Hemiscend ("we", "us", or "our") builds apps that respect your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is handled across all Hemiscend apps and services.

We collect only what is necessary to make our apps work. We do not sell your personal data.

What we collect

Depending on which app you use, we may collect:

Account information (email address, display name) if you create an account
App usage data to improve features and fix bugs
Health and wellness data you voluntarily enter into apps (stored locally on your device or in your iCloud account)
Device information (OS version, device model) for compatibility and crash reporting

We do not collect sensitive health data without your explicit consent, and we never share it with third parties.

Data storage and security

Personal data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Health and wellness data entered in our apps is stored locally on your device or synced via Apple iCloud — we do not have access to it on our servers.

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.

Third-party services

Some of our apps use third-party services for analytics and crash reporting (such as Apple's built-in frameworks). These services have their own privacy policies. We do not integrate third-party advertising SDKs.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To make a request, contact us at the email below. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children's privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our apps evolve. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of our apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
